Conscious movement and ageless strength accessible to all

Most people who come to Rise Pilates are in pain—from injury, years of poor movement habits, or pushing their bodies too hard for too long. Many are active, even athletic, but still struggle with chronic discomfort, imbalances, or a lack of ease in daily life.

At Rise, we help clients address issues like pelvic and hip pain, poor balance, and deep core and leg weakness.

Whether you're recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, or just looking to feel stronger and more supported, we meet you where you are.

Rooted in classical Pilates but not limited by it, our work blends functional movement, physical therapy principles and common sense. This isn’t about fast progress—it’s about lasting transformation. You’ll learn how your body works, how to move well, and how to build a foundation that supports your life.

Resilient. Confident. Strong.

I’m a mover and dance lover—rhythm runs deep in everything I do. For me, connection and community aren’t optional—they’re everything.

I’m deeply honored to guide people back into their bodies, out of pain, and into a life that feels strong, empowered, and fully expressed.

I teach with clarity, humor, and a few food metaphors—because great movement and great meals have a lot in common.

My superpower? Helping the hypermobile, the injured, and the overstretched find stability, strength, and relief.

I’ve been endlessly curious since day one. A seeker at heart, I’m always learning, refining, and deepening my understanding of the body.

ABOUT The Owner

My own Pilates journey began with a spark in 2004 seeking relief from chronic lower back pain—one class turned into a passion. Nearly two decades later, the method still blows my mind.

I was fortunate to study with some of the finest Pilates and movement educators in NYC and along the East Coast, and in 2014, I founded Rise when Santa Fe drew me in—a space devoted to conscious movement for every body, with a special focus on those 65+ who are ready to reclaim their vitality through joint-safe, strength-based Pilates.

At the age of 52 I feel and move better than ever. I attribute this to a strong physical and spiritual practice. I am sharing my life with my husband Jonathan and our little Border Terrier Chiclet.

"Chantall is so committed to health, wellness and vibrancy it's a joy to be around her. She's always looking for ways to enhance her fitness and she radiates well being. She's also got such a great sense of humor, a direct straight way of saying things, and a deep level of research into proper use of the muscles and function of bodies that she is a wise person to be entrusted with gaining health and fitness in oneself."
